HI!

I’m an artist/photographer based in Coastal Virginia. After 16 amazing years spent smitten with Los Angeles, I am back in my hometown with my husband, son, fur babies and beloved cameras & paint brushes in tow. I am settling in and ready for this new adventure. If you need a photographer, illustrator, painter or simply some unique art for your home, you've come to the right place!

Fine art photography prints:

I have been offering my prints since 2008. I am so thankful my art has found homes in private collections around the world. I absolutely cherish my buyers. I like to imagine the viewer feels like they are standing where I was standing when I took the shot and we are sharing the same memory. I am most honored when someone describes my work as dreamy or leaves me a note as to why they chose a certain image and the memory it contains for them.

I am also especially grateful for the amazing opportunities that came my way as an artist in LA. My work can be found as set decor on several TV shows including Modern Family and The Rookie, seen in Lana Del Rey's record album Ultraviolence, in national and international magazines, books, hotels and has been sold through stores such as Urban Outfitters, West Elm and Target. 

Painting Commissions:

Teaching Artist:

Fall 2025 was the beginning of a new path towards sharing my love of art with kids after an inspiring stint as Artist-in Residence at an amazing local elementary school. I am also excited to be a part-time educator for the Virginia Contemporary Museum of Art as well as an art teacher for a wonderful homeschool co-op. 

Art Classes & Workshops:

Sparked by my love of creating and social gatherings, I am so thrilled to be able to offer art classes and workshops to my local community under my newly launched 12 Cranes at Sunset Studio. Follow me @12CranesatSunset for class offerings and schedules.
